29 Sept Hillingdon launches on-line Polish Exhibition.
The London Borough of Hillingdon has selected five Polish Air Force pilots buried in Northwood Cemetery and produced short biographies for a new online exhibition. This can be accessed at this link https://www.hillingdon.gov.uk/polish-pilots.
The pilots are Sgt Tadeusz Andruszków, FO Franciszek Gruszka, FO Ludwik Paszkiewicz, FO Marian Rytka and Sgt Stefan Wójtowicz.
These are just five of the 54 Polish pilots buried in the Commonwealth War Graves Commission section of Northwood Cemetery, alongside some of their colleagues who have died more recently.
